Producer/Director


Ms. Best has been directing and post producing for over 20 years. She co-produced, directed, and post-produced the feature film SHATTERED ILLUSIONS, a dramatic thriller featuring Morgan Fairchild and Bruce Weitz. In addition, Ms. Best has directed many TV commercials and corporate videos including the Addy award winning video for the LA Cathedral with Cardinal Mahony, nationally recognized commercials for Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep-Eagle, The See More Putter, Biolase, and projects for Blue Cross, Pacific Care, Brighton, and Dacor. She also directs live multi-camera video productions including shows for Autoline Detroit and the Morning Star International World Conference shot live at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Ms. Best’s extensive background editing and post production supervising, boasting over 100 credits on both the Avid and Media 100 editing systems, gives her a smart and effective approach to scene coverage and delivery of a seamless storyline. She has edited the feature film The Apple Cup, and the feature length documentary HONOR THY CHILDREN for Léon Entertainment.

Ms. Best’s varied experience in film and television also includes producing. She served as executive producer on the feature film The Apple Cup; producer on commercials for Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep-Eagle, and Cox Communications Tribune; and producer of specialty videos including The Pressure Workout with NBA star A. C. Green.

In addition to her endeavors in the creative arts, she has experience in sales and marketing with special focus paid to online marketing strategies. She has been involved in several start-up and small businesses where she was the key player in designing the sales and marketing strategies.

     With producer Wendy A. Goldman, Ms. Best has developed the satirical comedy THE INCORRECT MAN.

 

Ms. Best attended Indiana University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, and the University of Southern California, receiving a Masters of Fine Arts in Cinema/Television Production.
